WELCOME TO AUSTRALIAN SMALL WINEMAKERS SHOW - ASWS
The Australian Small Winemakers Show is the most prestigious wine show for small winemakers in Australia and New Zealand. The Show is open to those wineries which crush less than 500 tonnes per annum.
The aim of the show is to foster winemaking skills in small wineries and to give wineries with limited resources an avenue to show their commercial wines and compete on level ground.
The Show is well supported by wineries from all regions in Australia and New Zealand. Also, we have always been strongly supported by experienced and respected judges from all facets and levels of the Australian and New Zealand wine industry.

“Judge for a Day” was a new feature introduced by the Australian Small Winemakers Show (ASWS) at the 2013 show.
ASWS introduced the “Judge for a Day” to bring the show closer to the public.
Being a “Judge for a Day” is an opportunity for a member of the public to go behind the scenes and experience what happens during a wine show.
The opportunity to be a “Judge for a Day” at the 2016 show will be auctioned during the 2015 ASWS Public Tasting this Saturday, 24th October 2015.

One of the goals for The Australian Small Winemakers Show is to offer the opportunity for wine industry representatives to gain experience in wineshow judging by becoming associate judges. Through the associate judging program, it is the hope of the Australian Small Winemakers Show committee that individuals gain experience that will benefit themselves and the broader wine industry.
In 2015, in addition to the team of 13 experienced judges, there will be eight (8) associate positions available.
The Australian Small Winemakers Show would like to extend an opportunity for suitably qualified or experienced individuals from the wine industry to apply for an associate judging position for 2015.
